So we all want healthy glowing skin right?? Well did you know that eating good healthy foods can give you the glow! All you simply have to do is add some into your diet daily and/or apply to your skin.

So let’s start with Avocados

These great little packages of green contain something called glutathione – one of your master antioxidants and most powerful detoxifies. Avocados are also loaded with phyto-nutrients. They are also jam packed with good fat, vitamin E and vitamin C . In fact eating an avocado a day will have your skin pumping with goodness.

Next Olive Oil

Dose up on olive oil for smooth, supple skin. Rich in mono-unsaturated fats and the phytonutrients antioxidants poly phenols. Olive oil is a vital part of your daily anti-ageing routine. Beauty Dosage – one to two tablespoons of olive oil daily or massage into your skin.

Further along we have Spirulina

One of my all time favourite super foods! This is a form of blue- green algae and is a great source of vegetarian protein, B vitamins and iron. Adding a spoonful into a smoothie is an excellent way to ” up” your nutrients if your on the run. It’s a real skin treat.

Oh the humble Apple Cider Vinegar

What would a list of beauty tips be without ACV. I love drinking this every morning with a hot lemon. It alkalises the body and also stimulates digestive secretions and gets your metabolism kicking. I also use this as a toner on my face everyday too.

Blissful Coconut Oil

Oil of the pacific goddesses. If you want smooth radiant skin then you need to take one tablespoon daily… { trust me} and a little tip – try adding some to your green tea… Yummy.

Snacking of good fats like nuts and seeds

Moisturise your skin from within…The best nuts for your skin are almonds, walnuts, brazil nuts Sunflower and pumpkin seeds. They are loaded with Zinc, Vitamin E, and omega 3 fatty acids for supple skin.

Berries full of Antioxidants

Berries help to prevent free- radical damage to your skin. Here are some of my favourites:

* Blueberries

* Acai berries

* Strawberries

* Blackberries

* Goji berries

Up your health boost with Hemp Seeds

Hemp seeds are a natural super food. They are a good source of complete protein , vitamins and minerals plus omega 3 & 6. Adding these to your diet daily is a wonderful treat. I like adding them to my yogurt with some mixed berries.

Green Tea

I really enjoy having a cup of green tea daily. It works magic for weight loss also. Clinical research has shown that green tea leaves contain high amounts of anti-oxidants, which fight free radicals (harmful particles in the body that contribute to aging and diseases). These anti-oxidants work to fight free radicals when applied to the skin in the same way as when they are digested

For a great way to use green tea leaves on your body try my exfoliating body scrub – use dry ground green tea leaves mixed with honey to remove dirt and impurities from your pores. The slightly abrasive texture of dry green tea leaves and honey act as a great exfoliant to scrub off dead skin cells and pollutants, leaving your skin soft and smooth. Green tea leaves also have great anti-inflammatory properties and help reduce blemishes and scars. Use it either for your face or your body. Rub a small amount of the mixture in circular motion (avoiding the eye area) with your fingertips, leave on your skin for 10-15 minutes, and rinse off with water.
